Mathematics becomes a game, a thought, and a challenge! Saturday, July 25 for 2 hours.
Cédric Villani, Fields Medalist and one of the most recognizable figures in modern mathematics, invites Chania students to a special mathematics workshop as part of Festum p.
The workshop "Introduction to Solving Mathematical Competition Problems" is aimed at students who will be attending the 5th and 6th grades of elementary school starting in September.
Through a two-hour experiential program, children will learn basic problem-solving strategies, practice mathematical thinking, and come into contact with the logic of mathematical competitions.
The workshop is held under the scientific direction of our collaborator Yannis Petrakakis.
